Granasa is the leading granite quarrying company in Brazil, and one of the world’s main ones.

Founded in 1978, in the north of Espírito Santo State, by Waldomiro Robson, the “Alemão”, it has always been focused on innovation. It contributes strongly to the tradition and refinement in the choice of granites in Brazil.

Today Granasa is present all over the world, mainly in the United States and in the Asiatic countries.

1978 – Discovery of the Giallo Veneziano.
1980 – Granasa starts exporting to the European market.
1982 – Activities in Minas Gerais quarries started.
1996 – The Granasa Research Center formally established.
1997 – Activities in Bahia quarries started.
1998 – Joint activities with CVRD started
2002 – Activities in Paraíba quarries started.
2003 – Entry into the Asiatic market.
2004 – Waldomiro Robson Institute founded.
2004 – Granasa completes 25 years on the market.
2005 – Fifth ornamental stones warehouse set up - Vitória/ES.
2006 – Road-Rail terminal inaugurated in Colatina/ES.
